I'm proud of the variety of themes I can now work to. These range from a view "From the Fence" - as if you're actually at a race circuit as a paying spectator, to highly detailed pieces. I hope to provide the ability to own interesting, fun and accurate original art, for all wallet sizes..
Any and all of these themes can be commissioned. Prices start at just £250+P&P..
"Racing Lines" is a very simplistic view of the iconic competition cars of the world. Line drawings, with hopefully enough detail to make it obvious, but no more than that.. your imagination can do the rest!
"Monday Doodles" were my way into seeing how I could be more creative with my works, whilst starting and finishing each piece in one day - a Monday (my favourite day of the week for a long time!). Generally, I would draw a piece that focused on one section of a car, which would allow for greater detail.
my "Icons" series takes a revered driver, matches them with the vehicle we know them best for, and becomes a very highly detailed study.
My "From the Fence" series attempts to capture the view of the paying spectator at a race circuit., hopefully bringing back some great memories!
My "Circuit Racer" series takes a particular event - usually a famous victory (although it can be anything you desire) - and frames the subject within the map of the circuit in which the event happened. This particular "Circuit Racer" shows the winner of the 2024 Le Mans 24 Hours, set within the map of the Circuit de la Sarthe.
"Race Number" celebrates your heroes, within the number of the car in which they perhaps won a race, or a championship. This particular piece shows the 2024 BTCC champion, Jake Hill, in his no.24 BMW, set within the number 24. I guess this one is 3x24!
"Man and Machine" takes a recognisable person, be they a driver or team owner, or generally an iconic figure, and the vehicle they were famous for, or created an unforgettable moment in. This particular version is Michael Delaney's #20 Porsche 917 from the film Le Mans - set in the silhouette of Steve McQueen and that iconic 'two fingered salute'!
I adore fast jets as much as i love racing cars. One of my favourite things to do is to sit at the fence of my local air base and watch, listen and feel the movement of Eurofighter Typhoons taking off. It's truly incredible and inspiring. In fact, you might occasionally see me sketching at the fence..
